Unschooling Resources

The following definition is from Joyce Fetterol's website and I think it describes unschooling, also known as child-led learning, very well...
"The unschooling philosophy is that people will learn what they need to learn by living life freely and joyfully in an environment that supports who they are and is rich enough for them to both explore their interests and stumble across new interests."

TED talks:
Do schools kill creativity?-Sir Ken Robinson makes an entertaining (and profoundly moving) case for creating an education system that nurtures creativity, rather than undermining it. With ample anecdotes and witty asides, Robinson points out the many ways our schools fail to recognize -- much less cultivate -- the talents of many brilliant people

Animal School- A short movie. I am not affiliated in any way with the website that produced the movie, but I appreciate the way it describes different learning styles and the inherent foolishness of asking all creatures to conform to ONE standard.
